The Tesmec Model TRS-1375 is a heavy-duty bucket wheel designed to cut trenches in dirt for underground utility construction and cross country pipeline installation. Primary power is from a turbocharged diesel engine and all functions of the unit are hydraulically activated.
The unit incorporates two-speed crawler-drive that provides infinitely variable speed regulation whether traveling forward or in reverse. The digging wheel is hydraulically driven through flywheel gearboxes that maintain consistent torque in most uneven ground formations. Other major functions are raising and lowering the bucket wheel boom, a spoil removing conveyor belt and conveyor shift. The 1375BW reaches a maximum depth of 9 ft and width of 66 in.
Trenchers and Equipment Inc. (TEI) has been involved with the design, manufacture and use of trenching machines for more than 54 years. Eagle Wheel Trenchers are the result of the company’s unsurpassed experience, combined with the latest technology. TEI have mainly focused on wheel-type trenchers, because they provide the fastest method of excavation, with the lowest cost of operation.
TEI has nine models of Eagle Wheel Trenchers available for working on pipelines, utilities, cable, irrigation, drainage, foundations and canals. Digging depths range from 4 to 8 ft and digging widths from 12 to 48 in. Eagles are efficient, well balanced and heavy duty, for high production trenching in most soil conditions. They have a GPS compatible, electronically controlled hydrostatic drive system, providing safe and easy operation with low maintenance.
The Charles Machine Works Inc. is proud to introduce the newly acquired Trencor product line. Trencor’s line of mechanically driven track trenchers is now being manufactured at the American Augers facility in West Salem, Ohio.
The Trencor products will continue to be the industry-leading trenchers and surface miners consumers have come to rely upon for more than 60 years. Look for Trencor’s exciting new look and enthusiasm in 2014.
The Trencor lineup includes the T1060, T1360, T1460, T1660 and T1760, which range in digging width from 14 to 72 in. and maximum digging depths of 10 to 16 ft, depending on the model.
For projects requiring high horsepower and deep digging depths, Vermeer offers the T1055III trencher. Powered by 415-hp Cat engine, the T1055 features a rotary-powered head-shaft motor and splined head-shaft that produce a lower speed and higher torque, providing superior rock penetration and low chain wear for better production results.
The T1055 is equipped with the TEC Plus electronic control system, designed for improved diagnostic capabilities and to increase performance by enhancing machine controllability.Sectionalized boom lengths increase work efficiency. The 6-, 8-, 10-, 12- or 14-ft boom lengths offer job flexibility and eliminate the time and effort of changing booms.
