The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2013 unless noted.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. to clear approximately 20 miles of 12-in. pipeline right of way in Johnston, Wayne and Greene counties, N.C. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Dennis Bergman. Approximate start date: June 29.

Schmid Pipeline Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Summit Natural Gas of Maine Inc. for the installation of approximately 43.18 miles of 10-in. pipeline, 7.48 miles of 8-in. pipeline and 16.29 miles of 6-in. pipeline in Kennebec and Somerset counties, Maine. Headquarters are in Oakland and Fairfield, Maine. The superintendent is Tony Layrock. Approximate start date: June 6.

MDS Boring and Drilling Inc. (formerly Laney Inc.) was awarded a contract by MPG Pipeline Contractors for road boring on 22 miles of 12-in. and 111 miles of 16-in. pipeline on the Enterprise-Front Range Pipeline in Weld, Adams, Arapahoe, Elbert, El Paso and Adams counties, Colo. Headquarters is Hudson, Colo. The superintendent is Dwayne Broadhead. Approximate start date: June 4.
