Project Roundup: The following oil and gas pipe line projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2018 unless noted.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Berg Steel Pipe Corp. to offload and rack 405 miles of 30-in. pipe in Regan, Medina, Live Oak and Nueces counties, Texas. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Michael Magee. Approximate start date: Oct. 15.

United Piping Inc. was awarded contracts by BP Pipelines for the following: 1) pipe inspection on an undisclosed length of 2-in. pipeline in Tippecanoe County, Indiana; 2) pipe inspection on an undisclosed length of 2-in. pipeline in Washtenaw County, Michigan; 3) pipe pull and replacement on 300 ft of 20-in. pipeline in Chariton County, Missouri; and 4) line lowering of 400 ft of 8-in. pipeline in Dubuque County, Iowa. Headquarters for each project is on the jobsite. The superintendent for all four projects is Jim Bailer. Approximate start dates: 1) Sept. 6, 2) Sept. 12, 3) Sept. 5 and 4) Sept. 4.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC to clear approximately 27 miles of 42-in. pipeline right-of-way in Montgomery, Roanoke and Franklin counties, Virginia. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Duanne Kmieciak. Approximate start date:
Sept. 10.

Tom Allen Construction Co. was awarded a contract by Weeks Marine Inc. to install approximately 2,846 ft of 8-in. HDPE pipeline in Newcastle County, Delaware. Headquarters is Rosebush, Michigan. The superintendent is Stanley West. Approximate start date: Sept. 10.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge for restoration work on an unknown length of 30-in. pipeline in Mackinac and Bay counties, Michigan and integrity digs on a 16-in. pipeline in Monroe County, Michigan. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Joel Bailer. Approximate start date: Sept. 10.

Northern Clearing Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for clearing on approximately 4 miles of 8-, 12- and 16-in. pipeline right-of-way in Beaver and Butler counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Shawn Stephenson. Approximate start date: Sept. 6.

Dun Transportation and Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by Enterprise for the unloading, hauling and stockpiling of approximately 10 miles of 30-in. pipe in Chambers County, Texas. Headquarters is the pipe yard. The superintendent is Johnny Denton. Approximate start date: Sept. 4.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric to replace an existing valve with a new 8-in. valve in San Joaquin County, California. Headquarters is Lodi, California. The superintendent is Lou McMullen. Approximate start date: Sept. 4.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric to install approximately 100 ft of 6-in. natural gas pipeline and four valves in Stanislaus County, California. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Shaun Dewey. Approximate start date: Sept. 4.

T.G. Mercer Consulting Services Inc. was awarded a contract by Philips 66 for pipe yard construction in Medina County, Texas. Headquarters is Willow Park, Texas. The superintendent is Michael Magee. Approximate start date: Sept. 4.

B&N Clearing and Environmental LLC was awarded a contract by Integrity Kokosing Pipeline Services for erosion and sediment control on approximately 7 miles of 20-in. pipeline right-of-way in Monroe County, Ohio. Headquarters is New Martinsville, West Virginia. The superintendent is Kevin Newcomb. Approximate start date: Aug. 29.

Hoover Construction Co. was awarded a contract by U. S. Pipeline Inc. for drilling and blasting on an undetermined length of 36-in. pipeline right-of-way in Wetzel County, West Virginia. Headquarters is New Martinsville, West Virginia. The superintendent is Tom Froehlingsdorf. Approximate start date: Aug. 29.
Dykon Blasting Corp. was awarded a contract by C.J. Hughes Pipeline for blasting on approximately 20.5 miles of 24-in. pipeline right-of-way in Harrison County, West Virginia. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Jimmy Floyd. Approximate start date: Aug. 27.

EnRec (Environmental Reclamation Solutions LLC, formerly Indianhead Pipeline) was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for restoration work on approximately 128 miles of 42-in. pipeline right-of-way in Wetzel, Harrison, Doddridge, Lewis, Braxton, Webster, Fayette, Greenbrier, Summers and Monroe counties, West Virginia. Headquarters are Salem, West Virginia, and an additional site yet to be determined. The superintendents are Brian Proud and Randy Rubenzer. Approximate start date: Aug. 27.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by TransCanada-Keystone XL for the offloading and stockpiling of approximately 385 miles of 36-in. pipe pile in numerous counties in Montana and South Dakota. There are numerous superintendents. Approximate start date: Aug. 25.

Dun Transportation & Stringing Inc. was awarded a contract by U.S. Pipeline Inc. for the hauling of approximately 2 miles of 36-in. pipe in Wetzel County, West Virginia. Headquarters is the pipe yard. The superintendent is Joe McGee. Approximate start date: Aug. 20.

Henkels & McCoy Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams Transcontinental to test approximately 8 miles of 20-in. pipeline in Chester County, Pennsylvania and Gloucester County, New Jersey and approximately 1.1 miles of 6-in. pipeline in Middlesex County, New Jersey. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Gary Seidel. Approximate start date: Aug. 20.

InfraSource LLC was awarded a contract by Washington Gas & Light to install approximately 15.80 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Jason Nash. Approximate start date: Aug. 20.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Strike to haul 30 miles of 16-in. pipe in Matagorda, Brazoria, Harris and Chambers counties of Texas. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Stan Becraft. Approximate start date: Aug. 20.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric to install new ancillary facility structures at the Kettleman Station in Fresno County, California. Headquarters is unknown. The superintendent is Jake Fagan. Approximate start date: Aug. 20.

Inc. was awarded a contract by TransCanada (Gas Transmission Northwest LLC) for the hydrotesting of approximately 29,117 ft of 36-in. pipeline in Bonner County, Idaho and Spokane County, Washington. Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Meridien Energy for the hauling of 12 miles of 20-in. pipe in Doddridge County, West Virginia. Headquarters is West Union, West Virginia. The superintendent is unknown. Approximate start date: Aug. 14.

RowCon LLC was awarded a contract by Rockford Corp. to clear approximately 59.7 miles of 42-in. pipeline right-of-way in Cumberland and Robeson counties, North Carolina. Headquarters is Fayetteville, North Carolina. The superintendent is James “Bucky” Lane. Approximate start date: Aug. 13.

B&N Clearing and Environmental LLC was awarded a contract by U.S. Pipeline Inc. for clearing on approximately 1.5 miles of 36-in. pipeline right-of-way in Wetzel County, West Virginia. United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge to install approximately 640 ft of 34-in. pipeline in Walworth County, Wisconsin. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Heath Beckstrom. Approximate start date: Aug. 8.

Appalachian Pipeline Contractors, LLP was awarded a contract by TransCanada USA Operations Inc. to replace approximately 4,230 ft of 26-in. pipeline in Loudoun County, Virginia, and the hydrotesting of approximately 16,377 ft of 26-in. pipeline in Shenandoah County, Virginia. Headquarters is Ashburn, Virginia. The superintendent is Ben Brown. The approximate starting date unknown (announced 8/6).

Bigin. Fabricators & Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Co. to install approximately 3,200 ft of 8-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Morgan County, Illinois. Headquarters is Jacksonville, Illinois. The superintendent is Chris Elliott. Approximate start date: Aug. 6.
The Hillis Group LLC was awarded a contract by Williams Transco for 2 anomaly digs on a 30-in. pipeline in York County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Frazer, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Greg Kunes. Approximate start date: Aug. 6.

Snelson Cos. Inc. was awarded a contract by Pacific Gas & Electric to install a 16-in. pipeline valve and appurtenant piping in Fresno County, California. Headquarters is Fresno, California. The superintendent is Shaun Dewey. Approximate start date: Aug. 6.
