North American Pipeline Project Roundup: July/August 2021

Project Roundup is a monthly feature that summarizes the contracts awarded for pipeline projects in North America. The following oil and gas pipeline projects have been announced. Projects are in order of most recent approximate starting date. All projects are for 2021 unless noted.

U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams-Transco to install 1,840 ft of 24-in. pipeline and to remove approximately 1,840 ft of 24-in. pipeline in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Montoursville, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Jerry Bash. Approximate start date: July 7.

InfraSource Construction LLC was awarded a contract by Washington Gas & Light (WGL) to install approximately 100 ft of 2-in. pipeline, 200 ft of 4-in. pipeline and one 4-in. and one 12-in. line stoppers in Fairfax County, Virginia. Headquarters is Fairfax, Virginia. The superintendent is Chad Colley. Approximate start date: July 6.

Price Gregory International Inc. was awarded a contract by Colorado Liberty Pipeline LLC (Tallgrass Energy) to install approximately 140 miles of 24-in. pipeline in Platte, Goshen and Laramie counties, Wyoming, and Weld County, Colorado. Headquarters is Cheyenne, Wyoming. The superintendent is Terry McDaniel. Approximate start date: July 5.

Maxx HDD LLC was awarded a project by WB Pipeline to install approximately 19,287 ft of 12-in. pipeline in Harris County, Texas. Headquarters is Mont Belview, Texas. The superintendent is Carlton Loftin. Approximate start date: June 28.

Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Otis Eastern Service LLC for restoration work on approximately 18,000 ft of 12- and 16-in. pipeline right-of-way in Warren County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jim Pratt. Approximate start date: June 28.

Ellingson Trenchless LLC (d/b/a ECI Contracting) was awarded a contract to install approximately 3,000 ft of 24-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in St. Louis County, Minnesota. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Freddy Padilla. Approximate start date: June 21.

Ellingson Trenchless LLC (d/b/a ECI Contracting) was awarded a contract by Minnesota Limited LLC to install approximately 4,019 ft of 30-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Iron County, Michigan. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Kurt Peterson. Approximate start date: June 21.

Gabe’s Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. to install various lengths of 10-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in St. Louis and Franklin Counties, Missouri. Headquarters is Eureka, Missouri. The superintendent is Steve Huibregtse. Approximate start date: June 21.

InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge for casing remediation on 12- and 16-in. pipelines of various lengths in Monroe, Washtenaw, Lenawee Counties, Michigan, Erie County, New York and Lucas County, Ohio. Headquarters is Petersburg, Michigan. The superintendent is Carl Bubolz. Approximate start date: June 21.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by Precision Pipeline LLC for the hauling of approximately 14 miles of 42-in. pipe in Raleigh County, West Virginia. And Montgomery County, Virginia. Headquarters are Beckley, West Virginia and Elliston, Virginia. Superintendent is Adam Minigh. Approximate start date: June 21.

Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Michels Corporation for restoration on approximately 30 miles of 20- and 12-in. pipeline I McLean and Potter Counties, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Smethport, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Jim Pratt. Approximate start date: June 21.

B&N Clearing and Environmental LLC was awarded a contract by Price Gregory International Inc. for the clearing and matting on approximately 2 miles of 42-in. pipeline right-of-way in Greenbriar, Summers, and Monroe Counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is Mt. Hope, West Virginia. The superintendent is Kevin Newcomb. Approximate start date: June 16.

InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by U.S. Pipeline Inc. for eight horizontal directional drills of unknown length in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania. The superintendents are John Olson and Jerry McVay. Approximate start date: June 16.

Rockford Corp. was awarded a contract by Atlantic Coast Pipeline LLC for right-of-way cleanup on approximately 0.8 miles of pipeline in Cumberland County, North Carolina. Headquarters is Fayetteville, North Carolina. The superintendent is Dickey Langston. Approximate start date: June 16.

Beeghly Tree LLC was awarded a contract by Henkels & McCoy Inc. for the clearing, grubbing and installation of filler sock on approximately 17,000 ft of 20-in. pipeline right-of-way in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Headquarters is Pineville, North Carolina. The superintendent is Ryan Beeghly. Approximate start date: June 14.

Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by CenterPoint Energy for maintenance and integrity work including fitting replacements, farm tap removals and horizontal directional drilling on approximately 4 miles of 12-in. pipeline in Montgomery County, Indiana. Headquarters is Crawfordsville, Indiana. The superintendent is Justin Price. Approximate start date: June 14.

Minnesota Limited LLC was awarded a contract by CenterPoint Energy to install approximately 1.68 miles of 8-in. pipeline in Hamilton County, Indiana. Headquarters is Fishers, Indiana. The superintendent is Tommy Alexander. Approximate start date: June 14.

United Piping Inc. was awarded a contract by Kinder Morgan for cutouts and fabrication on 10” through 20-in. pipelines in Rock Island County, Illinois and Scott County, Iowa. Headquarters is Rock Island Illinois. The superintendent is Tim Darif. Approximate start date: June 14.

InterCon Construction Inc. was awarded a contract by Enbridge for site grading, pipe coating and painting, and pipe support modifications in various locations in Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri. Headquarters are to be determined. The superintendent is Carl Bubolz. Approximate start date: June 10.

Penn Line Service Inc. was awarded a contract by Michels Corporation for restoration and punch list completion on approximately 24 miles of 30-in. pipeline right-of-way in Wetzel, Marion and Monongalia Counties, West Virginia. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Jim Pratt. Approximate start date: June 9.

The Hillis Group LLC was awarded a contract by U.S. Pipeline Inc. for tree clearing in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Headquarters is Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania. The superintendent is Brett Ehasz. Approximate start date: June 5.

U.S. Pipeline Inc. was awarded a contract by Williams – Transcontinental Gas Pipeline for 30-in. pipeline anomaly cut out and tie-in work in Mercer County, New Jersey. Headquarters will be on the jobsite. The superintendent is Glenn Barwicki. Approximate start date: June 2.

Ellingson Trenchless LLC (d/b/a ECI Contracting) was awarded a contract by Strike USA to install approximately 3,000 ft of 30-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Henry County, Tennessee. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Derek Vogel. Approximate start date: June 1.

Ellingson Trenchless LLC (d/b/a ECI Contracting) was awarded a contract by Southeast Connections to install approximately 4,000 ft of 10-in. pipeline via horizontal directional drilling in Wicomico County, Maryland. Headquarters is on the jobsite. The superintendent is Derek Vogel. Approximate start date: June 1.

Pe Ben USA Inc. was awarded a contract by 90 Transport for the hauling of an undetermined quantity of 12 to 30-in. pipe in Live Oak County, Texas. Headquarters is Three Rivers, Texas. The superintendent is Eric Gregory. Approximate start date: June 1.
