The Terramac RT9 offers customers the benefit of easy-to-locate parts and service throughout the United States and Canada as the only rubber track multipurpose crawler carrier built in North America. With an 18,000-lb carrying capacity, the RT9’s 230-hp Cummins diesel engine will haul people, fuel, equipment or other materials smoothly over terrain too rough for wheeled vehicles. And with a ground pressure of only 4.9 psi when fully loaded, the RT9 can provide heavy hauling without wheel rut concerns even in freshly worked soil and moist ground conditions.
Buyers can also custom-order the base unit of cab and carrier for manufacturer-specific mounting of just about any equipment imaginable. From pipeline duty such as transporting mats and filling and placing silt socks with a carrier-mounted bark blower or driving a mounted hydroseeder right up to the planting area, the Terramac crawler carrier delivers on the promise of jobsite versatility.
The CE-certified Terramac is the largest carrier of the mid-sized class that can be transported without oversize permitting. It is just 17 ft, 7 in. long and 8 ft, 5 in. wide. Excluding the mount, the rig stands 9 ft, 3 in. tall and has a 20-in. minimum ground clearance.
